PRODUCT INFORMATION

Tylol hot for Children contains 12 sachets of powder for oral suspension. The active ingredients are paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Paracetamol relieves pain and lowers body temperature, chlorpheniramine maleate relieves runny nose, edema of the nasal mucosa, redness and hypersensitivity of the eyes. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride reduces swelling of the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract. Tylol hot is used to reduce the symptoms of colds and flu: nasal congestion (nasal congestion), runny nose, sneezing, increased body temperature, mild to moderate pain of various origins.

 

Contraindications:

Do not use Tylol hot if the child has hypersensitivity (allergy) to paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride or to any of the other ingredients. An allergic reaction may be recognized if a rash, itching, redness of the skin or difficulty breathing occurs. Do not take if the child suffers from diabetes mellitus, severe liver or kidney disease, if he is taking MAO inhibitors (to treat depression or other mental illnesses). To start treatment with Tylol hot you must not have taken such medicines for at least 2 weeks.

Take special care and consult your doctor before treatment with Tylol hot if your child suffers from the following diseases: liver, kidney and lung diseases, pre-existing anemia, severe heart disease, bronchial asthma, glaucoma (increased intraocular pressure), hyperthyroidism (increased thyroid function), hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes mellitus.

Do not give the child other medicines that contain paracetamol while taking Tylol hot because of the risk of paracetamol overdose.

If the fever persists for more than 3 days, and the remaining symptoms for more than 5 days, consult a doctor.

 

Method of use:

It is important that Tylol hot for children is taken and dosed correctly. It is intended for children over 6 years of age. It is taken by mouth. The content of 1 sachet is dissolved in 80 ml of warm water and drunk. If necessary, the next dose is taken after an interval of 6 hours. The recommended daily dose is 4 sachets.

 

Warning:

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical advice as overdose with paracetamol leads to liver damage. The most common symptoms of overdose are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness, redness or itching of the skin, hallucinations, sweating and general malaise, mild restlessness, tachycardia, a slight rise in blood pressure, etc.

Active substances: paracetamol-250 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate – 2 mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride-30 mg.

 

Other ingredients:

Excipients: sucrose-8.75 g, sodium-3.1 mmol / dose, sunset yellow (E110), orange flavor.

 

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place, without direct sunlight, in the original package, out of the reach of children.
